Why Financial Planning for you?
Because it’s all I know and it’s woven into every part of my life – I am a planner in every sense, I can’t help but think about the future, I love to see results, I value the hard work it takes to get those results and enjoy celebrating when the plan comes together.

How do others describe you?
That question makes me smile, but I would hope to be known as practical, reliable, trustworthy and kind.

Amanda Jarosz
Amanda JaroszDirector, Certified Financial Planner
Amanda Jarosz joined Momentum Planning in 2006, inspired by the personal nature of the business in getting to know and understand each client as an individual. Amanda is a Certified Financial Planner and holds a Masters in Applied Finance, and has over 18 years of financial services experience.

Why Financial Planning for you?
People make important decisions every day, and sometimes just having that sounding board, someone you can call who knows your position and what you’re hoping to achieve, can make all of the difference. Seeing the outcomes and applying the same principals in my own life are a constant reminder of how planning can bring it all together.

What do you enjoy?
Structuring my working life around spending lots of time with my young family, and celebrating achievements of my own and of those around me.

Beverly Harvey
Beverly HarveyCertified Financial Planner & FPA Aged Care Specialist
Beverly Harvey began her career working with Social Security/Centrelink delivering support to people in need in a regional office. This identified a natural interest in helping and supporting people whilst they were dealing with their own personal struggles. With an inclination for methodology and problem solving it was an organic transition to commence working in financial planning. This transition was supported by the achievement of a Bachelor of Business and cemented by the rigorous study as a Certified Financial Planner and now 15 years working in the profession.

Why Financial Planning for you?
It is an exciting new direction for professionals to take and the opportunity to help ordinary Australians navigate the complexity of a changing financial landscape is a source of pride. To be able to share in people’s dreams and aspirations, analyse and demonstrate the pathways to make this successful and the finally see the ultimate purpose come to fruition is very rewarding. It can be difficult to be an expert in everything and still have time for yourself and the things that matter, – that is where I would like to step in.

What’s next?
It surprised me some years ago to realise that our profession is still very young in contrast to other more well-known and established advice experts. I look forward to being a part of the growing evolution of advice services that is for and about the clients that it was created for. This includes building confidence that we are here to deliver on our core values of putting our clients first, acting with integrity, providing our services objectively and with fairness.
